Big City Greens Wiki

5309 Elkins Street is a recurring location of Big City Greens. It is a mid-rise apartment building on Elkins Street, next door to the Green's house. It appears in every background shot where it is present.

It was destroyed along with the Big Coffee building by Chip Whistler in "Chipocalypse Now", but it was eventually rebuilt.

Appearance[]

It is a beige four-story building with balconies on the wall facing the Greens' house.

History[]

In "Critterball Crisis", Brett watches the Critterball game from his apartment.

In "Blood Moon", Gloria's Halloween party was located inside Brett's apartment, though the Blood Moon complicated things for her and the Greens as the zombie animals swarmed the apartment building.

In "Forbidden Feline", Tilly pays a visit to Mr. Grigorian's apartment to visit Anoush. She would be driven out by Grigorian himself, but she successfully made it out of the building with Anoush - something she regrets when she hears Mr. Grigorian cry.

In "Cricket's Place", Cricket and Remy rent the apartment above Mr. Grigorian's to live on their own when they're tired of doing what their parents tell them to do. Unfortunately, thanks to Cricket's lack of chorework, the apartment instantly falls apart after one night, and the two eventually decide to go home.

In "Level Up", Tilly mentions the apartment as one of the many tall buildings disallowing the farm to expand.

Destruction of Big Coffee and the apartments

Chip destroying the apartments

In "Chipocalypse Now", it was destroyed along with Big Coffee as part of Chip Whistler's Wholesome Foods expansion plan. Prior to the demolition, Chip purchases the complex and forces all its residents to move out. Luckily, with Chip being banned from Big City, the residents move back into the Apartment and everything goes back to normal; except for the Big Coffee building in which Ms. Cho being fully retired has sold the rights to Chip before his ban, leaving the building vacant for rent and Gloria out of a job once again.
