Trivia[]
This is the first time we see Cricket's driving skills.
It isn't shown when or how the family were able to switch places. It's possible that they switched places every gas station or stop they visit.
There are 2 versions of this short, one that is Winter themed and one that is normal, You can view the winter one at https://vimeo.com/380860628. Though the video on Vimeo got taken down.
This is the second original Big City Greens project to be in Flash animation after the Random Rings shorts, and the third overall after Broken Karaoke.
Cricket sings the Barry Cuda song at one point, and Gramma is still bothered by it.
Tilly was the only Green who did not get a turn driving the Kludge.
Since this short contained a lengthy dialogue between all four nuclear Green family members in a single location, this is one of very few times Chris Houghton, Marieve Herington, Bob Joles and Artemis Pebdani recorded their dialogue together.[1]
This was one of the final Big City Greens-related media produced before COVID-19 broke out in the US.
Bill's line "Cricket, could you sit down please?" is the same line from "Blue Tater".
Errors[]
At the beginning, when Cricket laughs, there is no movement in the truck.
This error can easily be found while watching it on YouTube, zooming it in to 275.
There was no way the Greens could fit all their luggage behind the second-row seat, because it was touching the back wall.
In most shots when Bill is driving, his fingertips touch the back of the driving wheel instead of under the top part.
Cricket was able to drive even though he is a bit shorter than Alice.
