Gloria + Green Café, exterior[]

(The episode begins on a chalk menu, where the episode title: "Boss Life" is written on it. We zoom out to reveal the café; then the camera pans up and we see Bill planting some delicious coffee beans!)

Bill: (collects the beans and grunts) Mmm!

(He pours the bucket down the chute which leads to the barrels.)

Gramma: (picks up a bean and inspects it) Hmm... (kissing it) Mmmwah! (tosses the beans into the coffee furnace machine) Yah!

Cricket: (carrying a container of coffee beans) Comin' right up!

(Cricket pours them into the coffee grinder. Gloria puts the grinded beans into the coffee maker and the machine fills the cup...)

Interior[]

(And then she serves the coffee to Alexander and Terry.)

Gloria: Enjoy!

Alexander: (slurping and smacking his lips) This new café is perfect!

(In the background, Cricket serves two cups of coffee to a couple.)

Alexander: The service, the coffee... (one cup shows a plant, the other shows Cricket and Phoenix[?]) The music... (Here we see Tilly playing some French music!) THE AMBIANCE! Oh, my gosh, Terry, LEAVE A REVIEW, ALREADY! (he gulps as he downs the drink)

(Terry does so, he rates the café an "A+"... YES! Ding!)

Gloria: We did it! The café's a perfect A+.

Bill: Congratulations, Gloria! That's a testament to your leadership.

Cricket: You mean, our leadership?

Gloria: You're not the boss. You don't "lead" anything.

Cricket: Okay, fine, but my gramma co-owns the place. That must make me somethin'!

Gloria: You should be happy you're not the boss. It's a lot of pressure. I don't even think I can handle it sometimes. (...or does she?) But apparently, I can! (shoves Cricket's cap down his face) A+ rating, baby! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a perfect café to run.

(Gloria dances away; Cricket gets the cap off his head.)

Bill: And I've got a garden to mulch!

(And there he goes, giggling away while dancing on his toes.)

Cricket: Gloria doesn't know what she's talkin' about. I bet I could run this place, no problem!

Brief fantasy sequence: Cricket lives the boss life[]

(Dance music plays in the background as Cricket is all dressed up in his fancy boss suit.)

Bill as Cricket's worker: Great job, boss! We did all the work!

Gramma as Cricket's worker: While you sat there and did nothin'!

Cricket as the boss: Yep, bein' the boss sure is great!

Gloria as Cricket's worker: (shoving herself in between Bill and Gramma) Hey, boss! I finished counting the bean inventory, and we're at 1,287,003!

(Whoa, now that is A LOT!)

Cricket as the boss: Thank you, Gloria. However, it seems like ya missed one.

(He grabs the bean from Gloria's ear. Magic!)

Gloria as Cricket's worker: Oop! (They all start laughing; Cricket tosses the bean away)

Cricket as the boss: Get back to work! (laughing)
