Cogburn is a minor antagonist in Big City Greens. He is a very mean rooster owned by the Green family.
Appearance[]
Cogburn is a gray rooster with a darker gray for his body. He has a scar on his left eye, which looks like it has gone blind, except for when a pupil appears in the center, which implies he has heterochromia, as in having 2 different colored eyes.
History[]
Season 1[]
This episode marks Cogburn's first appearance, albeit minor. By sunset, he takes the pie Cricket and Gramma were supposed to watch, and after it is revealed Cogburn took it, the two Greens beat him up and take back the pie. By the end of the episode, Cogburn, who is watching the Greens eat the pie, is seen scratching the nearby window, indicating that he'll get his revenge sometime soon. ("Harvest Dinner")
Season 2[]
Cogburn's first major role is in "Animal Farm", where he turned Phoenix's crew of farm animals, which includes Miss Brenda, Herbert and Melissa, against her, on the prospect they get to go in the house. When inside, the animals do Cogburn's bidding, including trashing the house and making him some snacks. When the animals start to resist, Cogburn locks them in. This lasts until a resistance led by Phoenix and Dirtbag turns her rightful team against Cogburn, defeating him once and for all. ("Animal Farm")
Season 3[]
Cogburn is seen asleep with Cricket saying because of this, it's too early to get up. Cogburn then falls off the fence because of the bright light. ("Papaganda")
Bill tells Cricket not to shake the rooster (Cogburn) but Cricket shakes it because he thought Bill said "go shake up the rooster". Cogburn attacks them so they leave the chicken coop. ("Listen Up!")
Cogburn is seen getting out of Nancy's trailer shortly after the rest of the animals with a scoff. ("The Move")
Cogburn's second major role is in "Homeward Hound" where at the Greens' house in Big City, he tears up Saxon preparing to blame it on Phoenix. As he begins tearing it up, Melissa and Miss Brenda find him telling him to drop Saxon. Melissa runs towards Cogburn but instead of aiming for Cogburn she was freeing Phoenix from the lettuce crate. Miss Brenda knocks out Cogburn and she, Phoenix and Melissa make up. ("Homeward Hound")
Personality[]
Cogburn is a very mean-spirited rooster who likes abusing power so that it isn't fair when he forced the other animals to make pie constantly and when he tore up Saxon because he wouldn't get the blame. He, like other roosters, is violent and aggressive especially when Cricket and Bill were almost hurt from his attack. He's also very smug and not happy unless he has power and pie.
