Disney Channel is an American cable and satellite television network that is the core product/flagship property of Disney Branded Television, two units of Walt Disney Television, owned by the Disney-ABC Television Group division of The Walt Disney Company. Disney Channel has a large variety of shows, which includes Big City Greens. an animated show that was formerly going to premiere on sister channel Disney XD, but switched to Disney Channel.
The channel and Disney XD is also available around the world, carrying localized versions of Big City Greens amongst other shows; however, as more regions gain access to Disney+, and with the transferring of Disney content into a streaming platform, more Disney Channels and Disney XDs around the world are in the process of shutting down; for example, the Disney Channel and Disney XD in the British Isles closed on September 30, 2020, due to a failed agreement with Sky UK and Virgin Media, with their content, including Big City Greens, moving to Disney+ or a similar streaming service as the exclusive carrier.
