Plot
The Remingtons are stunned to see that their bill has come back with an exorbitant amount of money. They discover that Remy has been spending much of their wealth on a variety of things for himself, Cricket, and Tilly. Russell and Rashida confront Remy on his actions, but it is very obvious that Remy lacks the understanding of how to spend money, thinking that it comes from the "money store". They declare him a "money dummy" and decide to cut him off. Remy desperately asks for a second chance and they decide to give him one dollar to spend. If he knows how to use it by the end of the day, they will consider reinstating him.
Remy, Cricket, and Tilly travel around Big City to look for something to spend money on. After Remy fails to buy Overhaüls for his dollar, Remy decides to buy a BcRib from Burger Clown. When another patron complains that he cannot purchase one due to it selling out, he offers to buy one for $10. Remy sells his BcRib to him and suddenly gets an idea. After taking out a loan, he will purchase all the BcRibs across Big City and storage them. When the value for the BcRib rises, he will be able to sell them for those wanting one. The plan seemingly works when a man offers to buy all his BcRib stock for one million dollars, but Remy turns it down, having become power hungry.
To the surprise of everyone, Burger Clown has opted to make the BcRib a permanent menu item after high demand skyrocketed. Knowing that his means his value will plummet, and that his house will be reclaimed, Remy is unable to sell his BcRibs, especially since they gone stale. Luckily, the zoo has opted to buy them, on the condition they remove every pickle from them. Remy is able to pay back the bank, but is left with a measly 75 cents, with Cricket and Tilly getting 25 each. Remy sulks back to his parents who are amazed that by the end of the day, he practically only spent 25 cents. Knowing that he finally learned his lesson, they reinstate Remy who decides to be more careful with money.
