I can't believe we're sellin' our goods at a real life Farmer's Market!
...The Farmer's Market's for the little guy.

The Big City Farmer's Market is a market for produce. It first appears in "Supermarket Scandal" where Bill Green and his family set up Green Family Farms in Big City.

In "Feud Fight", the Market makes another appearance, where Chip Whistler and his Wholesome Foods is set up there with the sole intention of driving Green Family Farms out of business (which failed) In the episode, a Pepper District appeared, one such stall manned by a strange Pepper Merchant.

In "Animal Farm", Bill is surprised by another Bill Green setting up a much more high-tech stall in the market, though this jealousy subsides when the other Bill reveals he's inspired by the real Bill.

In "Sellouts", the sales at the Greens' stand are diminishing and the family tries to come up with ways to bring in customers: Cricket tries a literal publicity stunt, Tilly tries to make a "personal connection" by eye contact, and Gramma forces customers to buy from them, but they all fail spectacularly. Gloria discovers the Greens never gone social so she teaches them how to post about their stand online so people can know about them, as well as using Bill's spare clothes as uniforms and creating a more noticeable roof sign for their stand. This causes their business to go viral and brings in loads of customers, including one from out of the city.

In "Freebie Frenzy", the Farmer's Market hosts a Free Sample Day, where most, if not all stands, put out free samples for customers to taste. Bill initially believes that this will be a useful day for business, as when customers try free samples, they'd know they have something good, and "buy, buy, buy". Gramma thinks this is just giving away crops willy-nilly, and won't serve to benefit the business, however. Bill sticks to it, and a couple of customers buy after tasting samples. However, one customer tastes a sample without buying, provking Bill. Bill follows the customer, only to see him and another customer trying more samples without buying. Bill prohibits free samples from his stand; not even smelling the products are allowed. However, the customer that didn't buy from his stand comes back to clarify that he wanted to make sure he had the best tomatoes possible. Bill has a change of heart from this, and allows free samples at Green Family Farms once more. Meanwhile, Gramma and Cricket have the same idea: to feast on free samples from stands in the market. They go sample hunting at an orange juice and french fry stand, only to receive extremely small samples that are not at all filling.
