"Internetted" is the 11th episode of Season 4 and the 163rd episode of Big City Greens overall.
Synopsis
Tilly goes down an internet rabbit hole to figure out what happened to her favorite ice cream treat. while also teaching children about the safety of the internet.
Plot
Cricket, Remy, Tilly, and Andromeda go to the ice cream truck to get ice cream, but when Tilly asks for a Croblins ice cream bar, the ice cream man tells her that they do not sell them anymore. When asked why, he says that his boss said they weren't popular anymore. Remy, however, says that they were still considered the most popular snack in Big City. Tilly is confounded by this contradiction, but doesn't have time to think as Benny arrives with expired ketchup and the prospect of having a ketchup war. Tilly is left with Remy's touch pad and decides to use it to find the truth. Bill warns her that the internet is full of misinformation and that she needs to be careful.
Tilly personifies her internet web browsing with her entering an internet based world. She goes searching for the truth on Croblin bars and their sudden disappearance, encountering a mysterious rabbit that hops away from her. Tilly goes to a message bored, but cannot dig her way through all the random responses that do not give her a clear answer. She ends up in the dark web and catches up with the rabbit. The rabbit introduces herself as Agent Information and tells Tilly if she went down a "rabbit hole", she'll find her answer. After Tilly jumps into the hole, Agent Information tells her that if she grabbed the ''webs'' in the hole, She'll learn what really happened to the Croblin Ice Cream Bars. Tilly grabs ahold of them, but all of the webs are full of conspiracy theories. She gets caught in the webs and is trapped. She encounters another trapped user who reveals that Agent Information actually goes by another name: Miss Information, and has been misleading her.
Tilly is trapped by Miss Information and her lies, but Tilly is able to break free and simply exits out of the tab and returns to reality. Tilly is still upset about not knowing the truth behind the disappearance of Crobins bars. However, Bill shows up and reveals that he discovered the reason himself. He explains that one of his regular customers at the Farmer's Market is a dentist, and this dentist told him that the gumball eyes on the bars were chipping children's teeth, which led to a recall. Tilly is still skeptical, and this makes her question whether she can trust anyone. But Bill reassures her, telling her that she is smart enough to know that those close to her always have her best interests at heart. He also shows Tilly a Crobins bar, from which he has removed the gumballs. Cricket attempts to eat one, but ends up chipping his teeth. He tries again with the same result.
