At the Big Coffee Open Mic Night, Tilly decides to do ventriloquism, so she finds an old dummy and calls him Henry. However, Henry starts to give Cricket nightmares, and Cricket tries to get rid of him without hurting his sister's feelings.
When the whole Green family is relaxing on the streets watching strangers pass by, Nancy suggests that they play the "People Watching" game where they spot a stranger and make up stories about them.
When Cricket says that his "Hurty Tooth" has been acting up lately, Bill sets him and Tilly up with dentist appointments immediately. However, Cricket doesn't want to go to the dentist, and he tries to avoid Dr. Enamel and power through with his toothache. Meanwhile, Tilly is visited by the Tooth Fairy and Bill tries to solve a solve-the-difference puzzle.
Wanting to grow closer, Tilly and Andromeda have a sleepover at the latter's house.
When Gramma abandons Tilly at the park, it becomes granddaughter vs grandmother in a battle of pride as they try to make each other jealous with replacements. Meanwhile, Bill tries to be cool with a couple of youths, and Cricket teams up with playground designer Wyatt to make the most dangerous playground.
Gramma makes her famous "Feel Better Butter Biscuits" when Cricket and Tilly are injured playing on the tractor, but won't give them any more when they're better. So Cricket and Tilly try to exploit that fact to obtain more biscuits.

He stages a crisis by letting skunks into the cafe, but chaos ensues when he ends up trapping himself, Gloria, and everyone else in the cafe.
When Nancy accidentally destroys Saxon, Tilly thinks Gramma is to blame and tries to exact revenge, while Nancy struggles to tell her the truth. Meanwhile, the boys go fishing in city waters, but fish aren't exactly willing to take their line.
Tired of having grownups tell them what to do all the time, Cricket and Remy decide to rent their own room in the apartment next door to the Greens. They throw parties everyday with the other residents of the apartment, but soon realize that living by themselves without discipline isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Tilly is invited by Brett to volunteer at the local animal shelter where he works, and she becomes enamored with the numerous animals that stay there, including a dog she names Ivanhoe. However, she cannot resist the urge to keep them all to herself, especially when people come to adopt them.
Cricket is mistaken for a tween pop star who looks just like him, and exploits the situation for all the perks of fame. Meanwhile, the real pop star hangs out with the Greens to get a taste of normal life.
Remy and Cricket attend football camp in an attempt to impress Remy’s Dad, but it's quite a challenge, a challenge they have to face head-on.
