"Locked In" is the 43rd episode of Season 4 and the 195th episode overall of Big City Greens.
Synopsis
When Cricket and Tilly make a bad first impression during a lock-in, they forget who they truly are.
Plot
The kids at the table talking about Jagger.
Community Sue is hosting a lock in at the community center for the kids. Everyone is excited as they get to have fun and do whatever they want without adult supervision, until they spot a new kid named Jagger. Kiki, Weezie, and Benny all reveal things that they have heard about Jagger, but admit that they have never actually spoken to him before. Cricket, Tilly, and Remy decide to go and speak with him so that they can get a good idea of what he is like. The interaction goes south though, with Jagger refusing to be friends with Tilly, Cricket stumbling and falling into a pile of chairs, and Remy stammering and sweating out of anxiety. Based on these interactions, the calm and collected Jagger concludes that Remy is "the funny guy" to his utter delight, but that Cricket is "the klutz", and doesn't even seem interested in wanting to talk to Tilly, calling herself "the grrrreat friend".
Cricket and Tilly become depressed over the bad impression while Remy is delighted at being the funny guy, though this results in him deciding to hide in a trash can from everyone including Jagger for the rest of the evening, so that he doesn't ruin it. Cricket and Tilly attempt to perform numerous gestures to Jagger to get him to see them differently, but this only enforces his belief that Cricket is clumsy and Tilly is too forward. The two attempt to go back to their other friends, but they too seem to follow Jagger's view of them. When Cricket proposes that maybe he was wrong about himself and others, the rest of the kids begin to feel that they too don't know themselves and the gym goes into a panic.
The kids working together to cross the bridge, now remembering who they really are.
Sue reenters the gym in the early hours and sees the disaster among the children, except for Remy who is hiding in a trash can to avoid Jagger and keep his funny guy title. She calms everyone down and unveils the Community Rope Bridge of Introspection and forces the kids to use it to rediscover themselves. When Cricket nearly falls off it, he catches himself and regains his self-identity. The rest of the kids follow suit, until they notice that Jagger isn't following. He reveals that his real name is Allen and that he is scared. When they offer friendship to him, Allen bails and leaves the community center to try again with his fake identity. The kids relax and leave the following morning, pleased of their own identities.
The last scene shows everyone forgot Remy, who is still hiding in the trash can in the now locked up gym, insisting he is still the funny guy.
