I've come to notice this. All the icons from the editing tool buttons when posting a message or comment are missing, and I don't see the little magnifying glasses next to the links in the recent activity page! Is there something wrong with the code? Can you fix this?
Look below the message window when posting a reply and you'll see what I mean.
Yes, I know why this is happening. The :root selector in the CSS is responsible for providing the icons' visibility. I had added it before to amend this problem, but for some reason, NeoplanDan removed it earlier with other code that I added to improve the site.
A heads up that much of the Navboxes (e.g. Template:EpisodeTranscripts) have title bars that are broken. (The linked example hasn't been edited since July.) Wikicode seems to have appeared on the title bars where they shouldn't have...
I would be editing the template all the navboxes are based on, Template:SimpleNavbox, but it's locked, so may you please fix the issue?
It seems that it's not broken, but missing data. I've filled in the required fields on the Episode Transcript page, but basically, each one using the SimpleNavbox needs the "name" and "title" filled out. It's a hassle, but that way doesn't require more work than changing the source itself.
Almost. Judging by its appearance, the order reads up to down, but the last segment should be on the right side of the table, and it's on the left, making it appear between Cricket's Shoes and Feud Fight.
Excuse me, but I think you should let me keep Category:Young adults and not delete it again. Young adults deserve their own category, just like elderly characters. I recreated it, so please do not delete it again.
Hi, I understand you want to have a category like that, but when we already have a category for kids and adults – two sides that cover both ends of the age spectrum - it's redundant to have a young adult category when they're already a subset of the adult age range. Also, there is currently only one member in that category, so it's a waste to keep the category if it's only meant for one item. However, I can recommend a better replacement with teenagers since they're older than kids but younger than adults.
Okay, first of all it's "children" and "adolescents", not "kids" and "teenagers". If you're going to use the proper word for adults, use the proper word for youth and children as well. Second of all, elderly characters are already a subset of the adult age range too but they have their own category so it's only fair that young adults have their own category too.
I see that, and I would like to add that from my experience, elders are traditionally distinct enough to be recognized as their own division in life, in spite of being "adults". Regardless, neither way is necessarily the "correct" interpretation, so I will get back to checking on that later.
In the meantime, perhaps you can work on your approach in these discussions. We both like to talk about how to arrange this information in a way that works for both of us, and others such as I would enjoy it more if you improve your tone and attitude. We're not here to fight, after all, but to say what one wants for the wiki isn't the same as what others prefer, nor knowing what's best for it. And besides, even if you disagree, to disagree is something we can still agree on.
I have noticed you've made an error in adding the navboxes. You've put the transcript navbox on the main episode article; those go on the transcript tab ONLY. The main episode page must get the episode navbox, the trivia page gets the trivia navbox, the gallery page gets the gallery navbox, and so on. Please put the navboxes in their proper tabs.
Hi there! There's nothing wrong with the template because the problem isn't in the template -- it's in the module it pulls from! The real data comes from Module:TabSwitch/data, and it was in need of updating the episode titles it listed and linked to; where "Bad Influencer was", an "N/A" followed instead of "Green Christmas". So I've taken the time to update the module. It should be working as it's supposed to now. Let me know if there's anything else I can do!
