The S.S. Hootenanny is a minor location in Big City Greens that only appears in "Chill Bill". It is a motorboat rented by Bill when he and his family visited Lake Smalton.
Appearance[]
Exterior[]
It is a small white motorboat with a blue stripe in the middle and a label that reads the name of the boat.
Interior[]
First floor[]
The main area of the boat is a wide space with some seating out front, a main control console in the centre as well as a barbecue, a blender and of course the brown hardwood floor of the boat.
Second floor[]
The second floor is notably smaller and features a deckchair with a parasol. Alice uses the deckchair to get a perfect tan. There is also a raft on the same side as the second floor which Remy uses.
History[]
Bill first runs over to the S.S. Hootenanny and climbs on it. Alice tells him to get off as it isn't theirs but Bill tells them that he has rented it for the day. Everyone hops aboard in excitement and the boat sets off.
Cricket asks Bill if he can now drink a Splish as they are now on the lake. Bill says no but no as in: "not until we take it up a notch". Bill decides to make a Splish shake. He 'accidentally' pours the whole carton of Splish ice cream into the blender leaving them to drink the whole thing. Cricket pushes puree on the blender however it goes wrong because the lid wasn't fully attached. Bill licks the Splish shake off his arm inspiring Cricket to do the same. They have officially made a fun idea!
On the upper floor of the boat, Alice sits on a deckchair to get a good tan while watching Remy do some boat tricks on the boat's safety raft. She however, isn't paying attention and doesn't notice Remy float away.
Back on the boat, Cricket and Bill do a plethora of boat entertainment, including a pool noodle fight, a burger bun filled barbecue and a dive into the lake.
Later, Remy attempts shining his glasses on the boat to get the Greens' attention. This however does not work, and Bill and Cricket drive off to do some bonuts.
After Cricket and Bill finish their bonuts, Bill brings out a jet ski which he also rented and tells Cricket that he's driving! As Cricket thinks about how nothing can ruin the day, Nancy starts calling Bill to get the first aid kit out.
Trivia[]
- S.S. (boat-wise) stands for Steam Ship, although the S.S. Hootenanny is a motorboat rather than a steam ship.
- S.S. has also been used within the Big City Greens franchise to stand for Space Ship. (S.S. Gwendolyn from Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation)
