The Smalton Scrapyard is a scrapyard in Smalton that first appears in "Junk Mountain". It is owned by Hector's family.
Physical Appearance[]
The Smalton Scrapyard is owned by Hector and Lupita's family and features a plethora of mountains piled with old things as well as Hector's trailer, a campfire area and a lot of old cars which Tilly tries out. In "Horse Girl", Lupita is found to be building a time machine as well as said to have made a "WiFi signal booster". She says to Cricket that there were a ton of videos online on how to make them but she couldn't access the internet so she just winged it but all it does is electrocute people. In "Truck Stopped", Cricket, Tilly, Remy and Lupita are shown playing Junk Mountain on a pile of garbage.
History[]
Junk Mountain[]
The Smalton Scrapyard is first shown in "Junk Mountain" as the prime location for the episode. Bill, the kids and Remy go to the scrapyard to get some parts for the Kludge. Cricket tells Remy about Hector and the game Junk Mountain as they see Hector's younger sister Lupita. Tilly says she's going to find a car as she isn't going to use the Kludge as an adult. When they see Hector, they are both alarmed at how different Hector is from how he used to be back when the Greens used to live in Smalton. Remy feels unsure about hanging with Hector because he isn't used to being with teenagers. The three go off and then Remy comments on Hector's shirt.
Tilly starts her search for a good car and finds a sports car. She hops in and imagines herself going over the speed limit in it. Tilly does not pick this car because she says she's not ready to go to prison so she keeps looking.
Cricket, Remy and Hector arrive at the trailer and it is apparently different from what Cricket remembered. Hector says he did some decorating while the Greens were gone and says he's going for more chill vibes. Cricket spots their old sword bin and finds a collection of men's body spray in it. Hector shows the two how it works but it causes the two to cough and pass out. Cricket also finds a portrait of Hector's girlfriend and calls it a monster. Hector then shows Cricket and Remy a song he's been working on which scare the two.
Meanwhile on Tilly's search for a car, she finds a hearse and imagines herself leading a funeral parade. A monster then awakens from a coffin and Tilly falls off a cliff in the hearse. Tilly keeps looking because her insurance rates would go through the roof.
Back in the trailer, Cricket finds a Junk Mountain box full of handmade gear. Hector and Remy were dancing to the song. As Cricket shows these things to Hector, he says he was going to throw them out. As Hector was about to play, Sunday and a few other teenagers arrived and took Hector with them. Cricket and Remy then wonder why Hector won't play with them but then Cricket makes a plan to bring him back.
Still on her search for a car, Tilly is getting nowhere saying each car gives her more and more trouble. She then finds a hotdog shaped car that reads: "Hotdognalds". Tilly imagines herself driving in it giving away hotdogs to people. Then she spots a puppy but then it runs after her and swallows her whole. Looks like she's not having this one.
Cricket and Remy then arrive at the party the teenagers are throwing to get Hector back. Cricket sneaks his way to Hector as Remy operates a crane. Once Cricket reaches Hector, Remy pulls them both back to play Junk Mountain. The three try to play but Hector keeps getting distracted by the other teenagers so Cricket lets him go back.
Tilly returns to Bill with not a car but instead with a tyre and says it's just right for her, and with that, she zooms off.
Feeling sad, Cricket and Remy talk and say that they will be friends forever and play Junk Mountain saying it would be more fun for someone else to play with them but then, Lupita arrives. The three play Junk Mountain as Tilly rolls past in the tyre.
Horse Girl[]
As Cricket cycles through Smalton to find some decent WiFi, he arrives at the Junkyard and Lupita shows him a WiFi signal booster saying it's designed to connect to WiFi. She says there are a lot of videos online on how to make them. Cricket grabs a hold of it but electrocutes himself. Lupita suggests going to the tower but warned him of a storm. Cricket walked off.
