General[]
- Morals:
- Don't let fear stop you from your accomplishments.
- Courage is not the same as not being scared, it's going ahead and doing something even if you are scared.
- Cricket reveals that he had a fear of heights.
- This is Benny, Kiki, and Carlos' first appearance; Benny and Kiki would become supporting characters starting from "Cyberbullies". Carlos doesn't appear in any other episodes, having been replaced with Weezie, barring a very minor cameo in "Bear Trapped".
- The posters on the community center wall:
- A picture of an ant carrying a leaf that reads "Tenacity"
- A sea lion balancing a ball on its nose that reads "Courage"
- Bill elaborates that in the context of the poster, the seal is afraid of round objects, but is still facing one head on despite that.
- A monkey hanging from a tree branch and holding a banana that reads "Strength"
- The episode shows dark elements: it has a vision of Cricket after he fell in the pool, where his body was in pieces. This is an over-exeggerated vision as his body isn't actually able to split into pieces.
- The part where Cricket is splashed and the water chemicals get in his eyes is a reference to a line in the ending theme Do It All Again - "I got sweat in my eyes."
- According to a wall clock near the hot tub, the Greens arrived at the pool at 11:00 and left around 1:00.
- This implies that they were there for 2 hours.
- This is the first episode where someone ends up nude.
- Cricket getting his eyes stung by the water chemicals is a reference to real life pool water doing the same thing, since pool water is chlorinated.
- Cricket getting too scared to jump off the high dive is similar to how first-time divers are afraid to dive.
- In the establishing shot of the community center, a hidden Easter egg can be seen against a bush on the right.
- This is the 2nd episode that the Green's house is absent.
