Vasquez is a supporting character of Big City Greens. He is the personal bodyguard of Remy Remington.
Appearance[]
Physical[]
Vasquez is a large man with a stocky, muscular build. He has cornflower blue skin with dark blue hair tied back in a short ponytail and a handlebar mustache.
Attire[]
Vasquez wears a black bodyguard suit, with a white shirt underneath between the light lavender tie, and a dark purple shades.
Personality[]
Vasquez is very stoic, alert, cautious and sometimes overprotective, at least to Remy, as he is his guardian when Rashida and Russell Remington are absent and too busy to watch over Remy. Whenever Remy calls on Vasquez to return home, he's usually there to escort him, whether he is in a helicopter or a limousine. He is also willing to protect Remy's friends, as shown in "Chipocalypse Now" where he fights alongside Gramma, Tilly and then Bill against Chip's forces.
Vasquez's love for Remy has shown to go far beyond his profession, painting a portrait of him and sobbing uncontrollably in "The Move", aswell as showing an overwhelming amount of emotion when they reunited in "Long Goodbye". It's made apparent that Remy is the most important person in his life, regardless of his career.
In "Present Tense" and "Winter Greens", he is shown to be very lonely and without a sense of purpose without Remy. "Winter Greens" reveals that he actually shows an aggressive demeanor, which may be attributed to his training in the Special Forces.
In short, Vasquez is a stoic and aggressive, but sensitive, person.
Abilities[]
Talents[]

Nobody's getting past this human death machine.
- Protective nature: As the personal bodyguard to Remy Remington and sometimes the Green family, Vasquez will give his all to protect their lives from threats ranging from the deranged CEO of Wholesome Foods to even the littlest of snowballs.
- Fierce loyalty: In addition to his connection with the Remingtons, Vasquez expresses a deep loyalty to those he protects, wanting to see the best for them.
- Fighting skills: Vasquez possesses potent fighting skills, attributed to his time in the Order of the Fang. This is especially demonstrated in "Chipocalypse Now", where Vasquez is able to fight off Chip's workers with minimal effort.
Weaknesses[]
- Sensitivity: Vasquez can never imagine a life without Remy; even the smallest second of disconnection will set his sensitivity off. When fired, Vasquez will break down in sadness, showing he is very clingy to Remy. In "Rembo" he struggles to risk letting Remy learn to protect himself and in "Unguarded", he has a panic attack because Remy says he doesn't need him anymore. In the end of both episodes however, Vasquez learns to let Remy be a bit more independent. He is shown having a five minute break in "Starter Pack" but then getting excited that the break is almost over (likely suggesting that Russell and Rashida set this up).

"VASQUEZ SQUASH BUGS!!!!!"
- Aggressive demeanor: Sometimes, Vasquez's protective nature exposes a terrifying side of him, which is especially shown in "Winter Greens"; while he wants to give Remy the best snowball fight he's ever experienced, doing so meant bringing out the big guns all to squish "bugs" (the boys) in order to win. Additionally, when Remy does not get back in time for his welcome home dinner in "Long Goodbye", Vasquez goes on a manhunt throughout Big City, employing a helicopter and smoke bombs to take back the boy he has deeply cared for.

Trivia[]
- Technically, his name is Vasquez Jr. since his father is Vasquez Sr.
- It is revealed in "Time Crisis" that Vasquez was a Special Forces agent, possibly for the U.S. Army.
- As revealed in "Takened", Vasquez's favorite color is periwinkle.
- It's revealed in "Gabriella's Fella" that Vasquez has a crush on Rashida Remington. Although this may be Vasquez's love for the family in general.
- Vasquez shares some similarities with the The Ghost and Molly McGee character Jeff, as both characters are very protective & caring for a specific person in their respective shows.
- He is one of several supporting characters who did not appear in Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation, likely as a reference to him coming to grips that Remy does not need him all the time and he did not go to the Space Hotel with Remy and his parents.
