Ways We Feel Anxious is a song from the Broken Karaoke shorts. It is sung by Gloria Sato, Marcy Wu from Amphibia, Candace Flynn from Phineas and Ferb, and Libby Stein-Torres from The Ghost and Molly McGee. It is also a parody of "Ways to Be Wicked" from Descendants 2. Alice Green makes a brief appearance in the song, but she has no spoken dialogue or sung lines.
Synopsis[]
Gloria from Big City Greens, Libby from The Ghost and Molly McGee, Candace from Phineas and Ferb, and Marcy from Amphibia form a girl band called "The Stress Girlz" to sing a cathartic anthem about how they deal with anxiety.
Lyrics[]
Intro[]
Libby: Come on, Stress Girlz, we can do this! I think...
Singing[]
Stress Girlz: Trying to be a little less A-N-X-I-O-U-S
But our world is filled with stress, we're A-N-X-I-O-U-S
Gloria: (spoken) Oh, no! Oh, jeez! Oh, gosh! Oh, dear!
Libby: (spoken) Oh, my! Oh, boy! Big yikes! Much fear!
Candace: (spoken) Mom...! Phineas and Ferb are causing my constant anxiety!
Gloria: I'm in Big City to make art and be a poet (Stress Girlz: (spoken) Uh-huh!)
But so far, lattes are my only way to show it (Stress Girlz: (spoken) Oh, jeez!)
Libby: It's hard to overcome the smallest mental hurdle (Stress Girlz: (spoken) Oh, gosh!)
I'm on vacation worried sick for my pet turtle
Candace: Wish that I could say that I'm feeling well-adjusted...
Instead, I'm panicking my brothers can't get busted!
Marcy: Deep down, I fear that with my friends I've been a liar (Sasha: (spoken) Wait, what?)
On top of that, my cape is currently on fire!
Stress Girlz: No shame when you feel so much stress, you're trying your best
There's so many ways we feel anxious
Life can be a bit of a mess, but take some solace that you're human
It's okay to feel this...
Gloria: Hey, you, do you like this song? (Stress Girlz: (spoken) Oh, no...)
Is it going too long? (Stress Girlz: Oh, jeez...)
There's a voice in my head (Stress Girlz: Oh, jeez...)
Saying you've made your point, put this to bed!
Libby: (spoken) Maybe just one last chorus?
Gloria: (spoken) Oh, yeah, no, totally. I... didn't want to overstay our welcome. But obviously, we can't end the song on the bridge.
Libby: (spoken) Oh, right, sorry, I didn't mean to assume that you were...
Gloria: (spoken) No, no, you're fine. One more chorus is a great idea.
Candace: (spoken, nerverous yelling) Ugh, This's stresssing me out!!!
Stress Girlz: Trying to be a little less (Come on!) A-N-X-I-O-U-S (Let's go!)
This song is pretty good, we guess (Yeah!) A-N-X-I-O-U-S (Sing it!)
No shame when you're feeling stress (Nope!) A-N-X-I-O-U-S (Whoo!)
By the way, that spells "anxious",
Libby: I think they all know how to spell... (Stress Girlz: Good point!)
