Trivia[]
- Principal Lee, Zevon, and the coach were the only Zombies characters who weren't drawn with cartoon lips; instead, their lines were dubbed over.
- Bill and Gramma both break the fourth wall by asking "What's a Lip Switch?" and "What's a Big City Greens?", respectively, referring to the logos shown above ths couch.
- There are two nods to a potential sequel. Tilly's "To be continued with werewolves!" and Addison-as-Cricket's "Let's just hug and then kiss in the sequel!" foreshadows the events of Zombies 2, and hints at a possible Lip Switch installment for it.
- However, as of 2022, a Zombies 2 parody has yet to be made.
- The last Lip Switch was with The Santa Clause, with no further episodes being made as of November 2022.
- As Tilly mentions in the ending, many Zombies scenes and characters are either cut or had their roles downsized:
- Zed and Addison's park scene, and the latter's parents finding out she has a new crush.
- Much of the road to Zed's success in Seabrook High's football team leading up to the football game; it skips from the tryouts to the homecoming game.
- Bucky cutting the zombie supporters from the team.
- "The zombie rebel"
- ""The misguided parents" (Addison's parents, who in the movie tell her that zombies are bad)
- "The eternal optimist"
- "The surprise cheerleader"
- "A professional dog actor"
- "A totally real dumbbell"
- "A colander turned disco ball"
- "These sweet moves" (referring to Bonzo's dancing)
- Zed, as a human (which is a scene in the movie not shown in the video)
- Flashlights
- "This year's winner of Zombie Idol"
- The -aceys (Bucky's lackeys) and Bree (Addison's best friend), amongst other major characters, don't have as much screen time due to focusing on Zed and Addison's plot.
